This month we held a craft group special. We usually meet once a month at a members home and the Ladybirds bring along whatever they happen to be into at that time. We usually have some knitting, come crochet, some sewing, some beadwork/jewellry making and even the making of the odd historical costume. There has been card making and bunting stitching too If my memory serves me well.
Anyway there was a rather clever idea to hold a crochet special as quite a few Ladybirds are not too confident with the technique-so the experienced hookers amongst us (excuse the dreadful double entendre…how very Mel and Sue of me!) offered to help those that wanted to master the basics. So armed with wool, hooks and lots of lovely tea and amazing cakes we settled down to a fun evening!
Smile! Say crochet!!

Look who’s been busy!
What a clever bunch of Ladybirds! If you are a current member we meet on the first Monday of each month. If you have a crafty skill you would like to share or learn, make yourself known to one of the committee at a meeting or via the Facebook/Twitter pages and we will try and get something organised.
