So Lucy, tell us about your good self in a nutshell.

I’m a born and bred Cambridge 30-something mum.  Married with two sons. I am very creative and I currently work with adults with learning disabilities.

 

Describe a typical day for you.

 

Typical day? What’s that? If it is a day at home, I start with the breakfasts and the school run followed by the housework (which I loathe). Then it is time to collect the kids, have a mess about and dinner, bath and bed. Then I can put my feet up, watch TV and crack on with some knitting or crochet.  if it is a work day, I spend most of the day on the phone (or that’s what it feels like) and try not to scream when things don’t go as planned!

What would your last meal on Earth be?

Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.

Why did you join the WI and most importantly, the LadyBirds in particular?

​

I have lots of friends who I have known for years, and many I have known since childhood. I wanted to meet new people for this stage in my life and try something different.
